Ruth Percival

Professional Profile

Bachelor of Education (Bed Hons) from the University of Sussex in the UK, Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Psychology from the Open University in the UK and Master of Education from the University of Cardiff. A professional with over 40 years in education, she began her career with 13 years in the classroom and in middle management positions in the UK, working at the Grange School, the Hebrew Institute and Redland School in Chile, occupying the role of Head of Senior School in the latter two institutions. She then worked as Director of Learning and Innovation at the SEK Schools in Europe based in Madrid, Spain and went on to lead schools in Peru and Argentina before returning to Chile to take up her current position as Rector of CPV Peñalolen.

Sergio Sánchez

Qualified as a Spanish Teacher at the University of Santiago. Sergio possesses a master’s degree in educational management and administration from the Universidad Mayor. After teaching and working as a form teacher for 8 years, Sergio took over the academic direction of the four Pedro de Valdivia schools, a role he held for 7 years. Since 2017 he has been responsible for leading the Senior Section of the school.

Teacher of Physical Education, she studied Sports and Recreation at UMCE. With 28 years of experience at the school, 18 as a teacher and the last 10 years as Assistant Head of the Senior School. Upon the arrival of ISP she was appointed as one of three Safeguarding Leads.

Liliana Henríquez

She is qualified as a teacher of Biology and Natural Sciences obtaining her degree at PUCV and a Master’s Degree in Pedagogical and Curricular Management. She has classroom experience in private, municipal and subsidized schools in Chile. She is an advisor for experimental activities and management teams. She was academic director and as from July 2017 she has taken on the role of Academic Assistant Head in the Senior Section.

Her working life has been linked to the Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén School for 25 years. For the last 15 years she has been working in the area of management, leading, coordinating, implementing, accompanying and actively monitoring academic processes and activities, always maintaining the vision that students are the protagonists of their own learning. Her dedication to the holistic development of students can be seen in her close collaboration with teachers and parents, working to create an enriching and effective educational environment.

From 2020 to date she has taken on the role of Assistant Pastoral Head of Early Years together with the role of Safeguarding Lead.
