La naturaleza que reside en su propio patio trasero, balcón o el parque de su vecindario puede ser uno de los «teatros» más entretenidos que su hijo visitará. La observación de aves es un gran ejemplo de actividad donde podrán interactuar juntos con el entorno.
¿Cómo lo hacemos?
Lo que necesitaran…
- Acceso al exterior – preferiblemente un patio trasero, un parque o un balcón
- Un libro de la biblioteca sobre las aves (opcional)
- Binoculares para niños (opcional)
Diríjase afuera con su hijo y señale las aves que usted puede ver. ¿Están volando?, ¿Encaramados en una valla?, ¿Caminando por el suelo?, ¿En un cable?, ¿En el techo?, ¿Qué tipos de sonidos hacen?
Cuenten las aves que ven, describe el color de sus plumas, picos y pies. Busca a las aves en el libro de la biblioteca, compáralos con los que ves, y trata de encontrar pájaros que coincidan.

The nature that resides in your own backyard, balcony, or neighborhood park might be one of the most entertaining “theaters” your child will ever visit. Bird-watching is a great example of a nature activity that you can do together outdoors.
How To…
What You’ll Need:
- Access to the outdoors – preferably a backyard, park, or balcony
- A library book about birds (optional)
- Kids’ binoculars (optional)
Head outside with your child and point out the birds you see. Are they flying? Perched on a fence? Walking around on the ground? On a wire? On the roof? What kinds of sounds do they make? Count the birds you see, describe the color of their feathers, beaks, and feet. Refer to the birds in your library book, compare them against what you see, and try to find birds that match. The learning opportunities are endless!
